On 31st May 2024, Sri Sairam Homoeopathy Medical College and Research Centre’s Institutional Innovation Council hosted an Intra-Institutional Business Plan Competition. Students presented their innovative business ideas, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills and creativity. The event was judged by Dr. R.S. Anantharajan, Assistant Professor, Mr. Dinesh Kanaa, Assistant Professor, and Dr. S. Sankar, Professor, all from Sri Sairam Institute of Management Studies. This competition provided a valuable opportunity for students to receive expert feedback and recognition, encouraging the development of viable business ventures.

Formulate joint academic activities such as short courses, seminars, workshops, or conferences , in areas of Skill Based Training, Technology collaboration, start-ups mentoring and Education and Research including promote interaction and collaboration.

Hospital Sri SaiRam Homoeopathy Medical College celebrated Doctor’s Day by arranging a CME Programme on “LET’S BEAT CANCER” for the students at SSR Hall on 01/07/2024.

As a part of 3 rd Quarter IIC Programme – Online session on Product Design and Development Presented by Mr. Sam Austin J, Head – Mech– Prototyping Section, Sairam Tech Incubator Foundation, Sri Sairam Engineering College ,Chennai.

He Explored Following Topics : What is Design ,Product Design ,Elements of Design, Processing of Product Design, Marketing – Product Design, Role of Product Design.

On 24/05/24 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. at SSR HALL,a session on IPR Patent Rights as a part of IIC 3rd Quarterly Plan,Presided by Dr. G. Puthilibai, Professor and Captain of Intellectual Property Rights at Sri Sairam Engineering College. She provided a comprehensive overview of Intellectual Property Rights and IP management specifically tailored for startups. Both events aimed to equip participants with critical knowledge and skills to successfully navigate the startup ecosystem.

Sri Sairam Homoeopathy Medical College and Research Centre’s Institutional Innovation Council organized a visit to TICEL BIO PARK in Taramani, Chennai, on 27th May 2024. A group of 45 students and 6 staff participated in this Field Visit , to expose them to advanced Biotechnological Research and Innovation Facilities. The visit provided valuable insights into the cutting-edge developments in the Biotech industry, Exploration of Equipments ,enhancing the participants’ understanding and inspiring future research and Innovation Endeavors.
