Sairam Institutions at the BSG Diamond Jubilee Jamboree A Commitment to Global Development on 28-01-2025

Sairam institutions had the privilege of participating in Global Development village at Bharath Scouts and Guides Diamond jubliee and Muthamizh arignar Kalaignar centenary special Jamboree in Trichy. Sairam Medical College is proud to be a part of the Global Development Village- Jamboree in Trichy.

The village was Inaugurated on January 28, 2025, by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri Udhayanidhi Stalin, in the presence of the Hon’ble Education Minister, Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi; Shri K.N. Nehru, Minister for Municipal Administration, Urban and Water Supply of Tamil Nadu; and Shri Ma. Subramaniam, Health Minister of Tamil Nadu. The event showcased innovative ideas aimed at global progress.

The Global Development Village features pavilions dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and various Scouts initiatives, fostering awareness and action for a better world.

The distinguished guests commended the Sairam Medical College Team for curating an inspiring and impactful experience, reinforcing our commitment to education, sustainability, and social responsibility. Sairam remains dedicated to fostering growth and driving meaningful change for a better future.

National Science Day Celebration IIC Event 2024-25 on 23-01-2025

On 23rd January 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we gathered at Alpha Hall to commemorate National Science Day as part of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) 2024-25 Celebration Activities. The event was an integral part of the Saimedhackathon 2.0 – Hackathon Orientation Program, aimed at fostering innovation and scientific thought among participants.

The highlight of the event was an inspiring session by Dr. D.C. Mathangi, Ph.D., a renowned Women Scientist and Professor & Head of the Department of Mind-Body Medicine & Lifestyle Sciences at Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, SRIHER, Chennai.

National Youth Day Celebration IIC Event 2024-25 on 23-01-2025

On 23rd January 2025, Alpha Hall buzzed with excitement as we celebrated National Youth Day with a special Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) event: the Saimedhackathon 2.0 – Hackathon Orientation Program. This program marked the beginning of an inspiring journey for participants to explore innovation, technology, and problem-solving.

The event featured an esteemed guest, Dr. Satish Ramalingam, Associate Professor from the Department of Genetic Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tamil Nadu. Dr. Ramalingam, a thought leader in cutting-edge research, shared his expertise on three groundbreaking topics:

On 10th January, the highly anticipated SaiMedHackathon 2.0 was officially launched with an engaging and informative inauguration ceremony. The event was organized by our esteemed medical college, encompassing fields of Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, and Siddha, and marked the beginning of an exciting journey for aspiring innovators in the medical and technological fields.

The Hackathon Orientation Program was conducted to provide participants with essential information and guidance, setting the stage for the collaborative and innovative spirit that the hackathon encourages.

We were honored to have Dr. T. Jayasree, Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr.) from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, as the Chief Speaker. Awareness Program on Entrepreneurship and MSME Schemes – EDTNII Event on 06-01-2025

On January 6, 2025, the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), in collaboration with the Chengalpattu District Entrepreneurship & Development Cell (EDC) and the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDTNII), organized an Awareness Program on Entrepreneurship and MSME Schemes at the Sri Sairam Incubation Center – Seminar Hall,Sri Sairam Institutions ,Chennai.

The event aimed to educate aspiring entrepreneurs about government schemes and resources available for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and to inspire innovation-driven business development.

Inaugural Address:
The program was inaugurated by Mr. A. Muthuvel, Senior R&D Executive, Sri Sairam Techno Incubator Foundation. In his keynote address, he emphasized the vital role of entrepreneurship and innovation in driving economic growth. He encouraged attendees to explore the extensive support offered by government schemes to kickstart and scale their ventures.
