As a dynamic chairman and head of The Sairam Group of institutions & Sapthagiri Educational Trust Shri. MJF. Ln. Leo Muthu, has been a cornerstone of growth and development of this educational institution. Under his vibrant leadership and keen vision, the Group expanded its branch network exponentially, implemented host of pioneering initiatives and enhanced its visibility all over Tamil Nadu & India in medical education since 2001.
Shri. MJF. Ln. Leo Muthu always has been the singular force behind conceptualizing SRI SAIRAM HOMOEOPATHY MEDICAL COLLEGE & RESEARCH CENTRE and making it a dream come true for us. From inception as an idea to its fruition, he envisioned and meticulously worked out every granular detail to perfection. He worked tirelessly in planning and carefully selecting internationally renowned architects, proficient and motivated teachers and other related partners to associate with us. The college takes pride in setting up many firsts in the country including a unique design and use of many pioneering technologies compatible with world standards in medical education.

Right from the inception in 2001, our stress was on a design that epitomizes our vision of grooming children as well-rounded future leaders through all-round development across education, extra-curricular activities and sports. We also wanted the infrastructure to be seen as a confidence building measure to assure all parents that their children would only get the very best at SRI SAIRAM HOMOEOPATHY MEDICAL COLLEGE & RESEARCH CENTRE.

Our Chairman, MJF. Ln. Leo Muthu, ventured into the realm of providing Quality Education to both urban and rural students from India and other neighbouring countries. He has to his credit various other enterprises such as real estate, industry and various educational institutions. The Sri Sai Ram Engineering College at Chennai, Sai Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Madipakkam and Sri Sai Ram Polytechnic College at Sai Leo Nagar to provide a good training for diploma engineering, Further more Sri Sai Ram Institute of Management and Computer Applications, also a unit of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, was established in the year 1997 and it offers MBA and MCA programs. Our Chairman has not only stopped with his vision of providing Technical Education and medical education but was also instrumental in starting “The Academy for Blind” and “Home for the aged” under the community service programs of the Lions Club.

About Us

Sri Sai Ram Homoeopathy Medical College & Research Centre, Chennai was established in the year 2001 by MJF. Ln. Leo Muthu, Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust which is a non-profitable and non minority institution. The College is functioning at its permanent building at Sai Leo Nagar. A Sprawling campus of 200 acres. The college building is architecturally designed and built as per NCH norms.

Sri Sai Ram Homoeopathy Medical College & Research Centre has grown to be a reputed Medical Institution imparting education with International standards and preparing the younger generation of students with spirit of service. Our college is proud of its dedicated faculty and its infrastructure facility. The college is certified with ISO 9001: 2015 and is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. It is also recognized by the National Commission of Homoeopathy (NCH), New Delhi and approved by ‘AYUSH’ for Indian system of medicine and Homoeopathy – New Delhi. NABH Accredited & NCH – QCI – NABET ‘A+’ Rated Institution.

Sri Sai Ram Homoeopathy Medical College & Research Centre is equipped with well-established infrastructure, including lecture halls, a library, practical labs, and a hospital where students can gain hands-on experience. The college also focuses on research and development in Homoeopathy, fostering an environment where students and faculty can work together to advance the field.

The achievements of 13 gold medals, all bear testimony to this effort. In order to promote an Internationally acceptable medical education, our key focus has been on development of practical based training in order to deliver real value medical education and excellence in academics. Teachers are trained not only to teach well but are also expected to inspire confidence and trust in their students and become role models. Further, from interactive teaching methods to a healthy teacher student relationship, the college inculcates in the students a respect for tradition and ensures discipline and good manners.

Besides rigorous scholastic programs, we seek to develop and nurture the different facets of a child, from academics to research, cultural activities and sports. We focus on developing both the mental and the physical abilities of a student. Our College vibrantly functions with CMEs, Guest lectures, conferences, and various club activities. Besides the usual procedural teaching, we persistently upgrade and update our teaching tools and techniques in our well facilitated OPD, IPD & PHEREPHRAL CENTERS.
