NIPAM (National Intellectual PropertyAwareness Mission) Program – 18-22 April, 2022
“FunctionalMaterials Research Laboratory (FMRL), Department of Physics in Association withMinistry of Commerce and Industryorganized 5 days NIPAM (National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission)Program from 18-22 April, 2022 in Sri Sai Ram Engineering College campus. Aspart of said Mission, the Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and TradeMarks conducted Intellectual Property Right awareness program in throughoffline mode wherein the students/faculties has been enlightened on differentkinds of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). Sri Sairam homoeopathy medicalcollege had the highest number of participants in the program and both staffsand students were benefitted.

The program included Competition for girls “Fireless Cooking” , “Hair dressingCompetition” in the morning session and a speech by Prof.Dr.V.Sasirekha professor – Management Team Head – WoWWW cell Sairam Institutions on topic “Balance for Better” in the evening session.”

“The departments of PRACTICE OF MEDICINE, ORGANON OF MEDICINE, COMMUNITY MEDICINE, HOMOEOPATHIC MATERIA MEDICA, CASETAKING AND REPERTORY, of Sri Sai Ram Homoeopathy Medical College & Research Centre with the help of students of final BHMS conducted a program on cancer awareness from 4th Feb to 12th Feb 2022. The program included a debate on the topic “Treatment Approach to Cancer Symptomatic or Constitutional” followed by an exhibition related to awareness on homoeopathy and cancer.”

Master Champ Sharvesh, a 9 year old 5th standard student of Sairam Institutions achievements
Master Champ Sharvesh, a 9 year old 5th standard student of Sairam Institutions embarked on a marathon run from the Valluvar Statue in Kanyakumari to Valluvarkottam in Chennai with the aim of creating awareness about the Global Goals for Sustainable Development United Nations. He began the arduous journey on 2nd October (Gandhi Jayanthi) in the presence of Shri.Mano Thangaraj, Minister of Information & Technology, Government of Tamilnadu. He covered the entire stretch of around 750 kilometres in a span of close to two weeks. He has reached Chennai city successfully on Friday, 15th October 2021, which happens to be the birth anniversary of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India.
During his entire journey he was accorded overwhelming response not only from the government officials but also from public at large. People gathered in huge numbers to support and encourage the efforts of the young boy. District collectors and senior officials of the Police Department welcomed young Sharvesh at various district headquarters. He handed over a flag depicting the various SDG Goals to the government officials, a detailed list of which has been enclosed.
Young Sharvesh weathered heavy rains across the entire stretch to near the completion of the 750 km long journey. All along the marathon run, he scattered 2 lakh seeds balls in the open areas along the highway.
His 2 week long journey culminated with the Closing Ceremony held at Chennai’s Valluvarkottam on Saturday, 16th October 2021. Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru M. K. Stalin together with Honorable Health Minister Shri Ma Subramanian graced the occasion. Young athlete Sharvesh handed over the flags depicting the 16th and 17th Goals to the honourable health minister and chief minister respectively. The 16th Goal represents “Peace, Justice and Strong Institution” while the 17th Goal represents “Partnerships for the Goals”. A cash award of Rs.1,00,000/- was presented by the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Shri. M.K.Stalin, as a token of Appreciation to Master Sharvesh.
Young Sharvesh also handed over a cheque of Rs.12,34,567/- towards Chief Minister Relief Fund on behalf of Sairam Institutions to the chief Minister Shri.M.K.Stalin in the presence of Shri. SaiPrakash LeoMuthu, CEO of Sairam Institutions.
