Fire Safety Training Program with the objective of creating awareness and equipping participants with essential skills in fire prevention, safety measures, and emergency response.

Internal Hackathon for Eureka 25-26 (IIT Bombay)

The Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (RIED) Cell and Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of Sri Sairam Homoeopathy Medical College and Research Centre successfully organized the Internal Hackathon for Eureka 25-26 (IIT Bombay) on 25th August 2025.

Eight teams showcased their innovative ideas, including Homoe Pen, Hormonal Testing Kit, Homoeopathy-based Sprays for Bacterial Blight in Cotton, Urine Dipstick + Smartphone App for Early Detection, Smart Cooling Anti-Itch Patch, Portable Ultrasonograph, Cardiosphere, and Diet Doc.

The jury panel comprising Ms. S. Sheeba Rachel (External Jury), Mr. Muthuvel Arumugam (External Jury), and Dr. Rameezha Burveen (Internal Jury) evaluated the projects based on creativity, feasibility, and societal impact.

Among the entries, Shenbagavalli A’s Homoe Pen and Dheepthi’s Hormonal Testing Kit were selected for the next stage of Eureka 25-26 at IIT Bombay.

The hackathon served as an excellent platform to nurture innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students.

The orientation created awareness about the objectives, guidelines, and opportunities of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH). Students were guided on how to ideate impactful solutions, build strong teams, and present their innovations effectively. The session also highlighted past success stories and motivated participants to think creatively and contribute to solving real-world problems.
