On account of World Breastfeeding Week, Our Hospital Team of Sri SaiRam Homoeopathy Medical College & Research Centre arranged a ” Breastfeeding Awareness Programme ” on 1/8/2024 – 7/8/2024 at Thirumudivakam Sub Health Centre.

On 2nd August 2024 ,as a part of 4th Quarterly Plan IIC Event , Session on the Topic “Accelerators/Incubation – Opportunities for students & Faculties – Early Stage Entrepreneurs ” was conducted through our Resource Person Mr.Muthuvel Arumugam ,Senior R & D Executive ,Sri Sairam Techno Incubator Foundation ,Sri Sairam Institutions, has elucidated the key differences between accelerators and incubators, helping participants understand which option might best fit their needs depending on their stage of development and business goals, and also discussed the numerous benefits that come with joining these programs, such as mentorship, funding, networking opportunities, and access to resources that are crucial for startup success.

On 1st August 2024 ,as a part of IIC 4th quarterly event, Our Resource Person ,Dr. C.R. Rene Robin, Dean of Innovation, Sri Sairam Institutions, delivered an insightful talk on “Converting Innovation into a Start-up”,which was truly enlightening. His deep understanding of the innovation landscape and practical insights into the startup journey provided invaluable guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs.” The session offered a comprehensive roadmap for turning innovative ideas into viable startups.

On 2nd August 2024 ,as a part of IIC 4th quarterly event, Our Resource Person,Mr.S.A.JAYANDAN , ,Senior R & D Executive ,Sri Sairam Techno Incubator Foundation ,Sri Sairam Institutions, has delivered an insightful talk on “Lean Start – up & Minimum Viable Product/Business – Mentoring Session” that provided a deep dive into the principles of the Lean Start-up methodology and the concept of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The session was designed to equip participants with practical tools and strategies for launching and refining start-up ideas effectively. The session covered the core principles of the Lean Start-up methodology, emphasizing iterative development, validated learning, and the importance of adapting to feedback. Participants learned how to build and test hypotheses quickly to minimize waste and accelerate their start-up’s growth.

On 31st May 2024, Sri Sairam Homoeopathy Medical College and Research Centre’s Institutional Innovation Council hosted an Intra-Institutional Business Plan Competition. Students presented their innovative business ideas, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills and creativity. The event was judged by Dr. R.S. Anantharajan, Assistant Professor, Mr. Dinesh Kanaa, Assistant Professor, and Dr. S. Sankar, Professor, all from Sri Sairam Institute of Management Studies. This competition provided a valuable opportunity for students to receive expert feedback and recognition, encouraging the development of viable business ventures.
